She just loves nothing more than a big snuggle!!! Even more than food!

Christmas Eve was great ... after 'helping' to wrap presents, Misty came along to deliver the last Christmas card to a neighbour. She was so good, nimbly galloping down about 20 steps to the letter box. When invited in, Misty behaved impeccably, endearing herself to both our neighbours, being so gentle but completely confident. She enjoyed a good cuddle with each of them. Coming home she asked if she could play on an old pile of big logs in the garden ..... I ended up in stitches laughing!

WANTED - A FOREVER FAMILY OF MY OWN! (Misty's comments)
I’m very endearing: I love all humans especially calm and friendly ones.
I love snuggling up on laps, being stroked & having my ears and tummy rubbed.
I‘m extremely polite and I always ask nicely if I want a fuss.
I’m very happy to be bathed, groomed, dried, combed and brushed.
I’m very well house trained and always ask when I need to go outside.
I’m not destructive, I only chew on biscuits and treats – preferably sausage or turkey or chicken treats.
I can sit, wait (especially if you are trying to get through a door) and I can sit up on my back legs to look cute! I come when I’m called to eat or to have a lead put on.
I walk quite sensibly – I do like to trot along as there’s so much to see!
I love exploring and looking for scents of animals. I’m very nimble and I like hopping over logs and small jumps … I can go over a see-saw too!
I don’t make a lot of noise. If my foster brothers bark, I’ll join in but I stop as soon as I’m told to.
I'm pretty chilled with traffic, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and I travel really well in a car.
I do like going to visit new places and people, and I like visitors who come to see me (and my foster family) especially when they say I’m cute.
I’m happy to sleep in my bed when my family go out to do the shopping.
I do get mistaken quite often for a teddy bear. ....
I would REALLY like to have a family of my very own because, while I'm having fun and I try to be very polite, I think my big foster brother is OK, but I don’t much like sharing my foster mum and dad’s attention with their terrier. He’s alright, I suppose when we go out on walks.

It's official! Misty is a candidate for canicross! She's downloaded the 'Couch to 5 km' app (clever girl!!) and is training with enthusiasm. She just loves running and is a joy to be with.
Misty was so pleased with herself that she was happy to sit and chill out afterwards!
Someone is missing out on having fun with this lovely girl!

Misty is growing more confident & relaxed every day. Her foster dad has been practising her catching skills and Misty is AMAZING! So quick He's been teaching her to fetch the ball so he can throw it and she just loves the game! If she puts it too far from him to reach, she dashes back to bring it closer - such a clever girl!

MISTY GOES TO SCHOOL! - Misty wanted to go to obedience training with her foster brother on Monday so they both set off in the car. Misty looked at the six young dogs in the beginners' class as she got out of the car ... and walked past the group to the training area. She was clearly anxious when they all followed and started walking briskly about. We worked on walking to heel, 'watch me!' changing direction and sitting, a little distance from the others so that she could relax and concentrate. She just loved being praised by my trainer - the liver treats helped her to focus too! Misty slept like a little log when we got home!
