Soldier found an old doggy duvet in the garage and thought it a good back drop for a photo shoot!

Soldier continues to grow up whilst on his foster hols with us.

He is a plucky little lad and more than happy to trot around anywhere and everywhere.
Most traffic doesn’t bother him at all other than the odd very loud lorry or car where he will sit, look and try and work out what the racket is all about.

He greets all humans and dogs we meet on our walks with interest and a waggy tail. He is keen to say hello to all!

We took him to an enclosed field on Saturday. It is 3 acres, bordered by unseen but noisy roads and has a train track at the bottom.
Despite never having been there before, Soldier was very happy and confident in the big space and not at all fazed by the traffic noises or the sight of a fast train.
He experienced a serious case of Zoomie-itis during the hour we spent at the field and just LOVED running around and around and around!

Someone is really missing out on having this sweet, loving rascal in their lives.

Soldier is homed!
A new life, new pawrents and a new name - Riley.
The very lovely Ellie & Graham came from Essex today to meet the little scamp and there was no question that Riley was leaving Hampshire for good!
Ellie & Graham’s previous dog, Jasper, a wired hired JRT died a few months ago so Riley is going to fill the doggy shaped void in their lives.

What a result! I picked up 2 rather bedraggled, nervous pups a few weeks ago and they have both found themselves a forever home and are now much bigger, more confident and happier.

Thank you for stepping forward to rescue, Ellie & Graham, and I wish you many happy years with Riley.

Day 1 in the life of Riley .....After a sad farewell to Nurse Flo and the joys of M25 traffic , Riley stepped over the threshold of his forever home, yesterday, with us here in Essex. He is such an adorable boy and a very brave one, from sleeping with his pals (3 doggies) at Nurse Flos, to being the only dog in our house he curled up in his bed in our bedroom quite happily.

He slept most of the night and he let us know when he wanted to use the garden! So clever. He found Graham’s side of the bed this morning whilst I had my coffee, he ate his breakfast then we had a walk along the walls, a little play on the beach and a walk thru the town where he said hello to lots of his human neighbours and only one dog so far “Pippa” and they chatted nicely to each other.
