Herbie continues to be the most fabulous babysitter.
Today he has imparted more wisdom to Bazz, that being “we don’t do rain, son” so they are both snuggled up waiting for the sunshine.

Little Bazz continues to delight.
Yesterday he had a day out with us while his doggy brother and sisters went to Day Care.
Bazz did really well in a busy town environment and received many admiring glances and cuddles from strangers which he happily accepted.

We went for a lunch in a dog friendly cafe and I could not have been more proud of him! There were many dogs sitting with their people and despite being the youngest, Bazz was the quietest and calmest by far! Not a peep from him as he sat quietly by our feet watching the comings and goings of the cafe. Even the whining & barking of the nearby dogs did not disturb this cool dude. The many people that stopped by our table to give Bazz some fuss could not believe he was so young and only recently out of Rescue.

This evening we had another dinner date with ex-RR foster Ronnie.
Ronnie, Herbie and Bazz are just the bestest of besties and play so lovely together without a hint of nastiness.

This young boy is a true star.

Went out with Bazz on Saturday, with our RR Patterdale, Ronnie. As the photos show, both Bazz and Ronnie had a great time (with their mate Herbie as well). Bazz has an excellent nature and responded really well to having Ronnie jump on him, tease him with his ball, bite his ears and be generally boisterous. They carried on playing and running around for ages, with Bazz taking everything in his stride. At no point was he anything other a happy go lucky, good natured chap. He loves a cuddle as well. Frankly, he is marvellous.

A first for Bazz today.
He was left home alone, well without humans, while I popped out to the shops for 1.5 hours.
All of the dogs had a good walk before being left. I then popped Bazz into his crate and snuggled his bestie Herbie next to him in his bed, put the radio on and loudly left the house.
When I returned home, I crept into the house and it was completely silent (bar the radio) with all the dogs sleeping soundly.
I don’t think that Bazz had missed me one bit - which is just fabulous!

My Dad has come to stay for a few days.
I am not sure if Bazz approves of him.

Bazz’s social diary continues to be full.
Today, little George the rescue Bichon, came over for a play date.
Despite George being a small white perm on 4 legs, Bazz loved him as much as he loves his bestie Herbie and had a fabulous time playing for hours!
This lad has so many doggy friends now of so many shapes, sizes and ages. He is so lovely and friendly with them all.
