Hazel Staffie DoB 2008 Haywards Heath
Re: Hazel & Hogan Staffies 10yrs & 13yrs Gatwick Kenns
Mum and I spent a nice time in the paddock with these two lovely Staffs. Considering it was our first time meeting them they treated us as friends instantly! As has been said previously, Hazel is the more active of the two while Hogan struggles a bit on wobbly legs but they're both a pleasure to spend time with. Hazel enjoyed playing fetch and hide and seek under the stair apparatus, also bouncing up the stairs and being queen of the paddock! Hogan pottered around checking back in for some fuss while looking up with those big brown eyes. Both are complete softies and love a bit of love and attention (and treats!) rewarding you with kisses, Hogan is very gentle while Hazel is a bit of an all-action frantic face slurper with some teeth thrown in

Hazel spent the day in the vets yesterday having a tooth out. It was wonderful taking Hogan to the back of the dog mobile last night and reintroducing them.
Today Hogan was in good form so we went for a ride to meet Harvey the cat and his friends. Hogan learnt respect and got it easily

Re: Hazel & Hogan Staffies 2000 & 2005 Gatwick Kenns
Spent some time in the paddock yesterday with Hazel and Hogan. Easy to harness up albeit a little bit excited! Hazel likes to run after the ball, but have a few available, she does fetch them but will take them all to a 'holding place' until you throw another! Hogan likes to have a gentle stroll without any fuss. Two lovely older staffies, both needing a nice warm home x

Watching these two in the paddock brings a smile to your face They're happy to do their own thing, Hazel often bursting around playing while Hogan chills out and has some sniffs or some fuss, but when they come back together it brings that spark of life into Hogan and he tries his very best to keep up and play! Both are such bubbly affectionate characters if a bit toothy with their frantic kisses Love 'em

Regularly walk these two lovely dogs. And so well behaved. Again, love the paddock. And, with some encouragement, Hogan does his best too.
Always favourites of mine. Great they have company in each other. Always a great welcome and so rewarding. X Fiona L

Rescue faves Hazel and Hogan donning their Christmas outfits and wishing everyone a very happy Christmas xxx
My christmas wish is they find their furever family soon, they shouldn't be in kennels in their twilight years and they have so much love to give xxx

Great picture of these two lovelies looking very Christmasy! Steve and I took them out today, not for the first time, but we have to get in the queue. Usually we take them in the paddock but today Hogan was very lively and up for a walk so we did two circuits of the 'short walk' around the Poet's Hut. Hazel was quite happy walking and didn't seem to miss her ball chasing routine in the paddock. They are such nice dogs.
Re: Hazel & Hogan Staffies 2000 & 2005 Gatwick Kenns
Got to love Hazel and Hogan. These two are just lovely. We spent some time in the paddock before setting off on our walk. Hazel was very energetic, and was quite happy to chase the ball, bringing it back was another matter! Hogan, bless him, was more pottering around at the start and then all of a sudden there was a burst of energy! Yes he can have a trot around the paddock too!. Both of these beauties love a stroke, and are affectionate but be warned they will (very nicely) rob you of any treats you may have in your pockets! After paddock time, we set off for a stroll and it was lovely to see Hazel and Hogan brushing up against each other trotting along without a care in the world. A lovely bonded pair and an easy walk. I hope they find their forever home soon. x
Re: Hazel & Hogan Staffies 2000 & 2005 Gatwick Kenns
Hazel and Hogan spent some time in the paddock today with Louise. Hazel kept Louise busy throwing the ball for her. Hogan was more interested in trying to wheedle some treats from Louise, but unfortunately she didn't have any with her today so Hogan was very vocal in his dissatisfaction of this state of affairs. All was good again when I arrived on the scene armed with .............TREATS. Hazel was keen to show me her perfect 'sit' to get a treat. These two are such lovely, fun characters.
