Rescue Remedies dogs that have found their forever homes
I was just heading out for a walk with Buster this morning and we met Spud and Helen. Spud immediately wanted to be friends with Buster and to go where Buster was going, so we walked the two boys together. Spud certainly looked up to Buster (emotionally and physically!) and really enjoyed his company. Buster was very calm and gentle around Spud, looking out for him.
Thank you Anne for those lovely photos and indeed for sharing your walk with Buster with us. What an amazing little dog is Spud - so good natured and friendly. We had not met before yesterday but he gave me a lovely greeting and was ready for his walk within minutes. He did enjoy spending time with his tall, lovely new mate, Buster and would probably like most dogs. He sniffled and snuffled and didn't object at all when Ella, one of our lovely kennel girls, removed a tick from his ear - ticks are a common hazard at this time of the year. I could have put Buster in my bag and taken him home - I am totally smitten!
Me too - I am just elated that Spud found a home so quickly. To be honest, when I walked him last Wednesday I could have put him in my bag and brought him home!!! It looks like Spud really has landed on his paws - brilliant!
