Our Rescue asks new owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces, and manage and support encounters so as not to place dog's lives at risk, (Destruction or Control Orders are common place nowadays).

***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and Is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.

Please click for Benn's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

I met Ben for the first time this morning, he is a wonderful dog. We went for a walk with Collette and Teddy they walked beautifully together. We passed a couple of dogs no reaction from Ben, he is very people and dog friendly. He is very good on the lead, and responds to commands. Please consider Ben for his forever home love4.gif

I met Benn for the first time today and was absolutely bowled over by him. What a truly amazing little boy. He is so friendly, walks well, crosses the road nicely and ignores other dogs. He takes treats without snatching and is really responsive to his walker. One thing he doesn't like is water and he walked round all the puddles! I had such a lovely walk with him and I really didn't want to put him back in his kennel. This boy won't be around for long so get the homing questionnaire submitted quickly! :goodluck.gif:

Walked the beautiful Benn on Wednesday. I was very tired at the end of my days walking and asked Lynne to suggest an easy pup to take out with Geoff and the two girls, Keisha and Tilley. Lynne suggested this little boy. Easy needs to be his middle name!! Walked by my side, waited patiently for me to put his leads on, trotted happily with the girls or behind them. Ignored the cyclist that came rather close. He has a very upright jaunty tail which is cute and a long black nose which is surprisingly dignified in such a little chap. An all round cutie.

I walked Benn for the first time today and was instantly impressed by his warm and charming ways. This handsome chap is a joy to walk and remained calm when confronted by all iffy situations.
He has been well trained in the past and will make some lucky human very happy.
Throughout our walk he was gracious and inspiring so we had adventures.
First we met Fiona and Kate and he greeted them with waggy tail and had some treats in return.

Once in the woods I showed him some of Fredds photo spots, which involved some climbing.
He shows an excellent balancing ability.
72.jpg
Whilst balancing a mouse ran under the tree and with a stay command, he did just that. Even though he kept an eye on it, just in case.
73.jpg
Then off to the river for some fishing. Benn was interested in watching for fishy's but not really bothered about catching them.
74.jpg
He did however try once but missed it.
76.jpg
So off to the woods for some more climbing on things.

Thank you for a great first walk Benn you really are an ace dog.

Will post photos tomorrow

Our thanks to 4Paws Rescue in Wales for supporting Bann until we could take him in.
