***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and Is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.
Please click for Norman's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

I took Norman out today and he really is as lovely as he has been described. So pleased to see me in the kennel, ignored all the dogs on our way out and then walked so nicely. He is very cuddly and excitable if you want a fuss so I had to oblige!
Norman was followed for some way by a little dog who was lost (we saw his owner looking for him later on) and didn't mind being followed at all. Smashing little boy

Most of our dogs have 7 days in the pound then whizz into our Rescue to avoid losing their lives. Norman was fortunate to gain a place with a pound Rescue so waited (since November) for a Rescue place... and then whizzed straight in and out into his home. It was a great pleasure to help Norman and he touch many hearts in the few weeks he was with us and now he has Indie Anna Jones! as a friend and Claire, Rich with their family Dylan &

These are the posts I just love to do.
We are so happy to be able to say...................
Norman is homed!!!!!!!
Claire, Rich, Dylan, Jack and their gorgeous 9yr old Staffy girl Indy Anna Jones came today to meet our handsome young lad.
Norman can get a little excited so we went for a nice walk first and got to see all of his skills with kennel mate Buster. He returned to kennels nice and ready to meet his possible furever family.
We all met except for Indy so cuddles could be given and Norman could concentrate on the humans for a bit.
After a few minutes we went out for a walk and Indy and Norman got to walk closely and had a couple of hello moments which were so nice to see.
After Norman had walked with different people on the leads it was decided that we should go and have a long line session as we really needed to see how the dogs got on when playing or getting excited. There were a few play bows, little bounces and telling offs but it was plain to see that with any dog, Indy would like a walking companion and not a full on playmate. Luckily, Norman obliged and saw that he could have his fun with his humans and his time with Indy would be a spent calmly walking, sniffing, bumping and sharing Staffy chatter.
Back at kennels we chatted about all aspect of change that would happen for them, Indy and Norman with everyone agreeing that this family would be a perfect match for Norman and their commitment was so evident.
Norman is now off to live on a lovely estate in Dorset and will go to work(on the estate) with his new Mum and Dad. He will have many new doggy friends and an amazing future thanks to everyone who believed in him and put their time into saving him.
Have an amazing life Norman, and thank you so much to your new family. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you and see this lovely lad onto next part of his journey.
Loves ya Norman
