I also got the pleasure of walking Marlene on Friday and OMG how gorgeous is he. He was smaller than I actually expected, except for his big fat squishy head which he just loves a scratch on the top of. And his huge smile of course. He was very excited in his kennel when he realised he was going for a walk but once we got his lead on and we’re out of the kennels he settled done into an excited but respectful walk and didn’t pull hardly at all which I’d fully expected after his exurberance in his kennel. He wasn’t keen on the hot weather so we took it slow but he just loved taking in all the smells and mooching along in the grass. This boy would be an amazing addition to any home so if you are thinking about him don’t delay as he really is a teasure love4.gif

I got the pleasure of walking big head marlee again today. 😀 He is such a doofus and his head is just so squishy. He is always very excited to go on his walks and it did take a few attempts to get his harness on but with the help of Stuart tempting him with a treat we were quickly on our way. Marlee is a strong boy on lead but I feel this is just excitement to be out as once his initial exhuberence lowers he starts to listen and responds well. You cannot help but fall for marlee’s big smile and happy nature and he so deserves a sofa to call his own.

Here's some photos of chunky boy Marlee today. It was my first time meeting him and I can see that whoever gives him a home is a very lucky someone. He does remind me a lot of English bulldogs in how he acts :)

Marlee is such a funny chilled out boy. We had a lovely walk with Loki until on route back Marlee decided it was time for a long rest - we were worried he’d got too hot. Thankfully the lovely kennel staff and Laura came to pick us up (thank you) - turns out he was just being lazy - cheeky wotsit! See you soon Marlee thumbs.gif

Such a fun day with Marlee! After his antics yesterday today was a chill day. After he leaped into the car we went to grab a quick coffee but Marlee seemed so relaxed that we sat outside and he was as good as gold. Sitting down, taking everything in, even closing his eyes (maybe he should have had a coffee too 0002.gif] !).

We went for a little plod and he was great (Marlee with manners galore) - we passed a few pooches and just took the opportunity to lolop on the floor!

At home he was excellent loved being sprayed down with the hosepipe and once dry just toodled around and rolled around on his towel. He really is no trouble and has such a funny square face! thumbs.gif

Alan and jackie came to tell us their sad news losing Ruby their wonderful Ambull. Alan and Jackie had fostered Cosmo at weekends and would have homed him had Ruby wanted a man in her life...she didn't! God bless her soul.

So Alan and Jackie came to meet our wonderful dogs and today they offered Marlee his forever home and the trumpets played and everyone danced and we all lived happily ever after! [0128.gif] [0128.gif] [0128.gif]
