I had a lovely walk with Boots this morning and while we were walking I was thinking back to the confused, stressed out boy he was when he came to us. He would spend his walk searching out and being focussed on the biggest sticks he could find. All that is behind him now and he is the most wonderful, friendly, responsive boy you could imagine. He was so well behaved this morning, listening, responding to me and enjoying his walk with enthusiasm and such joy. He is so relaxed and confident now.

I walked Boots today for the first time in months and I agree' he has certainly turned a corner. He does get excited when you go in his kennel to harness him, but nothing like he used to and he listens and sits when you tell him. Once out of the block, he settled straight away and walked for most of our walk on a loose lead!!!, where was the leaping, pulling kangaroo that I walked ages ago? Boots is an very intelligent dog, he needs a home where he will get the training he needs, but also the excercise and mental stimulation that will make him a well behaved, calmer dog. He is so ready for this now and so deserves the right home. WHERE ARE YOU? A lovely, soft, affectionate dog is waiting for you.
Look at this intelligent, inquisitive face!

It's been a while since I walked Boots and this entertaining chap has a swagger about him that screams fun.
We had a big walk with traffic, cycles and wildlife to deal with, all of which were no issue to Boots.
So we had a swim and a splash about in the river and stopped of at the truck on the way back to hunt some hidden treats.
Boots walked to heel and was calm in traffic even though the cars were fast and tyre's noisy due to wet roads.
Well done Boots. Great walk today.

Boots walked out today with a spring in his step ...as always but today some new people holding his lead and a new environment at the local park. Gary, Rachel and Emma loved him and had a wonderful walk meeting dogs and enjoying his company. They are aware they have to watch out for intrusive strangers zooming in to say hello as saw how a people knocking into Boots made him bark. So Boots has travelled home to enjoy a lovely garden and and homelife. Boots will be so excited and want to sleep for days ... Boots we are all hoping you settle in your home and have a great life that you so deserve.

Our thanks to Angie & Amanda who were his guardians before he came to us saving his life and to Anne who has put so much time and love into Boots it certainly pays off!

So thrilled for Boots woo.gif] Although I was at the kennels this morning, I was gutted that Boots had left before I had the chance to say goodbye as I was still out walking Missie. I have really enjoyed my walks with Boots and getting to know him so well. Be happy sweetheart, I will miss you. love4.gif xx

What a great lad Boots is, he really is a credit to all that looked after him, thank you all so much. Boots has settled in so well taking everything in his stride, he even seems to enjoy having a bath although we haven’t mastered the art of getting him dry before he has a massive shake soaking everyone and everything within 6 foot of him.

Hopefully a few photos of Boots in his new home
