Bosco slept well again last night. He has settled in to our routine so very well and is truly delightful. He has the odd mad moment when he just needs to play or let off steam but the rest of the time he is very calm which given his age is quite something. He is a gorgeous, lovely natured dog and albeit cheeky at times is very well behaved and eager to please.
He had a nice walk around the lakes this morning meeting swans and other dogs extremely well. A great little lad who shouldn't be in kennels at his age - what are you waiting for!

Oops - it's done that upside down thing again, sorry!

Another good thing I have discovered about bosco is that he doesn't mind thunder - here he is during the brief storm this afternoon

Dear little Bosco has gone back to the kennels today but he has been an amazing guest and if he is not re-homed quickly he will definitely be welcome to come again. We took him out for lunch yesterday and there were lots of dogs in the pub garden and I have to say that he was one of the best behaved. It has been a real pleasure having him to stay as he is such a cute little boy, very playful and cheeky at times but very eager to please. My slippers and flip flops made it in to the garden but there was no damage and if you catch him with something he shouldn't have picked up a quick 'uh-uh' and it is dropped and left immediately. He does need some basic training but a little time invested would reap great rewards. You can take him virtually anywhere as he is so well behaved.
To re-cap on his qualities:
completely housetrained
left for an hour with no ill-effect to either Bosco or my home!
travels well in the car
super friendly and very cuddly
dog friendly
very affectionate
A few more pics of his stay

So we got home with Bosco on Sunday afternoon and he was straight in with excitement and racing around with his new toy! Think he was a bit anxious as he didn't go to the toilet on his first few walks but peed with excitement in the kitchen, hey at least it's wipeable little man. He's so clever and has already learned sit and drop, and has learned to lay in his bed whilst we eat :) We've done lead training with him too and he's so good, such a happy smart boy and eager to please.
He seems to be settling in and hoping he's happy here :) Tried to upload video but am doing something wrong ha.
