Hello everyone! I have FINALLY managed to figure this posting lark out! Thank you to Teresa for filling you all in on Franks adventures and how amazing he was through December when George was in hospital (all better now I'm pleased to report).
Frank has started coming out on bike rides with me (on a decent length lead)...I can tell you he has the best manners (hubby says he looks like he has done it many times, maybe he has(?) he knows to wait at the inside of the bike for traffic and stay well away from any moving parts. He is so focused on a good trot along that nothing...I mean nothing...distracts him! We are living on deserted country lanes at the moment with NO traffic, please don't worry about him. Once a week is his bike treat as I know he is older and we only go a mile and a half :)
He is truly my best little mate and every day I am making the most of cuddles and play-time with him. He goes bonkers chasing his tail one way and then the other haha
The other thing he does that is new for me in dog ownership is he talks to me when he feels it is food'o'clock! He steps from foot to foot telling me about it, tail whizzing round in circles like a hovercraft propeller...grrrr woof, sneeze....grrrr woof, spin around haha I'll try and video it to show you all!
When we first adopted him in September he occasionally nipped at my son (who had to learn dog boundaries) but now he is very tolerant and freely gives George kisses rather than giving him a wide berth haha We would like to thank Teresa for talking me through a few ways of letting both of them know where they stood. It worked, they both adore each other!
Thank you RR for all you do, I know it is hard to make sure all the dogs are catered to but the work you do is amazing! Xxxxxx no idea how to share images yet...love from Helen, Frank w's Momma xxx

Hello from Frank!
He is still doing very well and has adapted to very rural life in the valleys. Considering he must have been an urban dog he truly is happy running the fields round here!
He now wears a toddler hoodie with a wax jacket dog coat and then his harness and is finally warm enough on our daily walks haha he looks very 'countryside'.
He still loves his morning snuggles in bed, under the covers obvs...and is a very great companion dog for my Mum in law who has recently moved in as she needs full time care. She had missed having a dog around and at least this way she can just enjoy Frank without having the responsibility.
Thanks again to Teresa for your help a couple of months ago (What a naughty boy), much love to everyone who loved(s) Frank W whilst he was waiting for us xxx

I couldn't resist this photo of Frank that Helen posted on fb. Doesn't look too impressed does he? Frank is now living on a farm in Wales and has a truly wonderful life with Helen and her family.

Sadly, Helen messaged me this week to say that They had to offer Frank peace. He was a truly lovely boy and it broke my heart to hear this and the family are devastated. Frank reached the grand age of 13 but after a stroke a while ago, Frank had become increasingly agressive and unhappy. He's has spent the last four years in a family full of love for him and then when they moved to Wales, Frank had the run of the farm and his best friend was a sheep, who played with him Heart fill with love.gif]
Thank you for always keeping in touch Helen, and giving Frank such a lovely home.

Exactly what I wanted to say Anne. It was a magic time sitting with Frank in the field on a Saturday afternoon. I will never forget you Frank and so glad you got to live in a happy home full of love. Such a sad time for Helen and family xx
Would you like to walk our lovely dogs too?
