Cassie is settling in really well. We already love her to bits :) she was a little restless the first night, because we had our winter duvet on and she got too hot lol. I put the thinner tog on the bed and she slept through the night last night, again on Mummy's side of the bed. She's a real poppet, so affectionate. Thank you all for helping us to find our special girl xxx 0077.gif

She spends lots of her time snuggled with me on the settee, she is so full of love, we couldn't of asked for a sweeter pup.

We've just got to get her used to the local doggy population and work out who she'll be happy with. Any advice from you guys who have been walking her on the best way to do that :please.gif: ? ( with Lacey I think it just took time ) :thanks.gif:

I did find when I first walked Cassie at Chessington she did not react to any dogs and was happy to walk along side another dog. We were not on top of each other but I felt she was not interested and just happy to walk along side. The last time I did walk her she did react to a passing dog. I think she just needs to build up her confidence again. She did share a kennel at one point with another dog. As you said it will just will take time.

Give lots of hugs to Cassie. bighug.gif

Thank you, yes I've found she reacts to dogs coming towards us. Apart from that she's such a sweetie, we can be patient :) :dog_running-186.gif: :icon_barking_dog-116.gif: 0028.gif We've fallen in love with her XxX

Agree that it will take time for Cassie to build her confidence. I've always walked her with other dogs and she seemed happy knowing they were nearby and would keep pace with any faster dogs. But she was less keen when an off lead dog would come straight toward her. Cassie is a sweet girl!

It's so lovely seeing her get settled with you in her new home! Thank you for the updates!

I can't put into words how happy it makes me to see Cassie in her very own bed where she is loved and treasured - she looks so relaxed and contented and her ribs have disappeared..... :thanks.gif: 0093.gif
