Eddie needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle.
NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.

Known background: Eddie was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a council pound. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place and save Eddie's life. Eddie is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Currently in boarding kennels in Chessington

Eddie's Thread below: Watch progress through our Rescue
Original Referral: 10.06.15 Hi Lynne, Hope your well, We have a bit of a crisis at moment where 2 of the pounds we work with have case's of parvo, We have had to put a load of dogs on Iso. not to put any others at risk but of course this means we have no room for the Poundies that are in the unaffected pound We have not told them as yet as don't want them to go ahead and pts), Both have a staffy each that can both be neutered The other we can get done asap.
Any chance of a place for ?1 Kirsty 4paws

We agreed to take 2 Eddie and another They come at the end of the week
Breed - Staffie - Male Age - 01.07.14 Dog Friendly - Yes Cat Friendly - No People Friendly - Yes Child Friendly - Yes House Trained - Yes Neutered - Yes Flea & Worm Treatments - May 2015 Vaccinated & Microchipped - Yes
Fosterer" Eddie, indoors he is very content as long as he has a toy or chew to amuse him. He loves a belly tickle and a scratch behind his ears. For the most part he and our young resident staffie girl get on very well but as they are both young and high energy they do occasionally clash over their things. Bed times are no problem he will curl up and sleep soundly until morning. Pleased to say Eddie is now fully house trained.
On our walks Eddie just loves everyone and other dogs, he is especially good with children. His behaviour on or off lead is impeccable. He walks beautifully alongside his pack and his recall is perfect."

My second walk with this lovely lad .He is just a super friendly boy .Walked again with Baz. He likes to walk be side him . He is aware of his walker and checks you are still there. We went in to the paddock he loved playing with a stick and will bring it back to your feet to throw again. He will sit on command and likes a treat. He enjoyed running up and down the fence beside Faith who was in the adjoining paddock. We sat for a rest from all that running he climbed on my lap for a snuggle and one little staffie kiss. He's. adorable.xxxx
