Re: Maisie Staffie DOB 12.07.08 Bristol
Wonderful update. Maisie is such a cuddle monster isn't she. When walking her just tell her "with me" and she comes back and does a nice little dressage trot!!! Thank you all of you for loving this little darling so much as we all did when she was with us in Rescue. A diamond indeed. Hugs galore to Miss Maisie Moo from Manda and big hug to you all as a family xxxxxxx

Maisie waited so long for her home, but how happy we all are now that she has finally found the right one. Maisie must be so happy and is such an easy dog to love. Keep Maisie on a short lead around other dogs and with the muzzle, and then move on. She can be strong when she is being stubborn and wants to go a different way
Lots of love Maisie, miss you so much, have a happy life xxxx

Hello everybody and sorry for being so late in responding! Life has been so busy - but believe you us, Maisie is ALWAYS at the centre of it and gets her walks and meals (fishy ones for preference, it seems) and above all, her CUDDLES (including plenty of sofa nap-cuddles) every day without fail! We like our 'sitting on the floor cuddles in particular - she leans in and thrusts her head under your arm or puts her head on your shoulder and then sort of presses in to you, wagging her whole body!
We've taking her on a short holiday soon, but only just in Devon, in a place where there's plenty of fenced in livestock-free land for her to run about and we're really looking forward to filming a more 'free range' Maisie there, as our garden isn't big (although she does enjoy a roll in it and there is much sniffing to be done, ditto on long walks).
Have to admit, when we first got Maisie home, it was a challenge handling her on walks as in a new environment she was just on high alert all the time. But whilst outings are still power-walks and energetic, we're having a more relaxed attitude now as trust and familiarity have been established (and we plan our routes to be low-dog density).
Come night-time she sleeps either in our bedroom or on her own blanket on a 'snuggler' sofa downstairs. She is a very heavy sleeper and sometimes I have to 'cuddle' her awake for early walks... she seems more like a teenaged human with a sort of 'do I HAVE to get up?' but then races up hills within minutes of that....
Can't speak highly enough of this marvellous girl. She has the BIGGEST heart.
We've had her name tag made with two phone numbers on and will soon post her old one back your way, with a further small donation. We are so blessed to have discovered Rescue Remedies... and Staffies in general... and Maisie in particular... all via 'the Oldies' website. You people are true angels - special hugs to those in Maisie's 'leaving sing-a-long!'
