Blessie Needs:- Blessie needs a family who can offer her understanding and companionship. Blessie would live with another dog providing they are receptive to her play. Blessie is kind and would live alongside children providing they are respectful and ensure gates and doors do not allow to let Blessie out inadvertently. Blessie is not for cats and small furries. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.

Known background: Blessie was found stray her finder thought he knew the owner and her name as Blessie but that person denied all knowledge (As they do). Blessie served her 7 days and was unclaimed. Blessie was wormed, spayed, chipped and flea treated. Blessie is currently in foster Waterlooville Hants with 2 other dogs and 2 children.

About Blessie: Young & enthusiastic but respectful and looks to take her lead from her handlers, enjoying training. Blessie is so the puppy in her submissive nature and keenness to play. Blessie loves to play with other dogs on walks and give other dogs space when they indicate this. Only things to work on are a bit of pulling on lead, but perfectly manageable with a halti. Blessie's approach to ever situation is to offer her belly. Great with children, doesn't jump up and so enjoys their company. Welcomes all visitors, especially when ready to play and embrace her warmth and joy. She doesn't grab or chew anything she shouldn't, happy to amuse herself if you are busy and can be left. She is fully housetrained and travels well.

Blessie is a slender framed brindle Staffie with interesting ears which have still to decide where they are going to lie or settle on her head. Blessie is in good health and has managed kennels well and settles in novice dog owners hands due to her deferring and kind demeanour. Blessie has enjoyed her foster placement living beside to large dogs and 2 children, loves the school walks and meeting children at the school gates. She loves any fuss and attention, but equally happy to settle down when you're busy. Blessie is a socialite!

Blessie came out of kennels like a rocket today, boy was she keen for her walk. Right from the start she had a wonderfully playful feel to her, bouncing around all over the place full of joy. Unfortunately for Blessie she was far too bouncy for Tia, so Blessie gave Hennah a try as we met her on her walk but alas, far too bouncy for Hennah also.
Blessie feels like a very young dog, absolutely full of life and you can't help but laugh at her antics. It did take some time for her to settle, she had tried several times to get Tia to play but as you'll see in the video, Tia wasn't having any of it. Given time Blessie will learn to calm her approach and will figure out that this will get her better results with regards to play, she's young and so full of life, understandably wanting to make the most of every moment on her walk. Her antics are so funny, I'm still chuckling thinking about her :D

bouncy Blessie! Love her friendly staff, took Blessie for a long walk up the river and she was full of energy for the whole 90 mins. My lovely snoop ( tiddles ) of whom i adopted from rescue remedies joined us and they soon was partners in crime, both loving to play and enjoyed the adventure :-)

We bumped in to the lovely Blessie today, out walking with Snoop. She looks fantastic, has put on some much needed weight since she first arrived at kennels and seemed much calmer than she was when I walked her a few weeks ago.

Oh Blessie, what a treat to meet you yesterday :D

Lucy and I took Blessie into the paddock, Blessie was torn between playing ball and rolling over for a tummy rub, bless her, she found a way to do both in the end !!!

Blessie loves the ball...

I hadn't time to walk this girl today but I just had to pop in and say hi to this little lady who could be my Barney's young sister. Ooo such excitement lots of love, lots of tummy tickles. She did some nice sits for the treats she'd quickly sussed I had and even showed me her skills walking on her back legs, Watch out Pudsey you have a rival!!

My second time walking this adorable girl - not a bad bone in her body. She's a happy, bouncy, affectionate, hilarious little girl. Very happy to meet other dogs, just wants to play. I could have happily spent all day with her - such great company. This lovely young lady is just perfect - yes she's a little enthusiastic but she's a young dog - I'd love to have her zest for life!!! Blessie - I abdolutely love you!!!!
