Jordon is settling in more now, even ignoring the donkey next door and mingling with our visiting cats (or at least trying to - they're not so keen). The cow that just wandered past the front of our house was a different matter though :D

John a rather belated doff of the hat for taking such a leap and huge respect for taking Jordon along with you when little Tia has a few issues, give her a hug from us. Take care all of you and will miss your sage advice and thanks for all the efforts you have put in to RR, its been a journey but hopefully the final destination will have made it all worthwhile. Ciao mate.

Thanks Mark. Tia is doing really well, she's now allowed a bit more freedom but of course give her an inch and she'll take a mile. Yesterday she took herself upstairs, and while I wasn't best pleased as she isn't supposed to do this, I couldn't help but think that she hasn't been able to do this for over 2 years.
As for Jordon, he's learning to be more dog :D He's had a life of being fed easy food in a bowl, and though he did eat some raw when I fostered him he'd always turn his nose up at anything that he had to work for. Spent about an hour yesterday morning doing various things to get him to eat a goose leg and he eventually got the message, this morning only took a few minutes of throwing it around the garden before he devoured it. He's also turned into something of a sun worshipper and really enjoys lazying around on the patio (or on my lounger).

Great updates and brilliant to see Jordon out of the kennel environment. By the way i think you will find it's actually Jordon's lounger.

Jordon continues to do well and his barking has eased noticeably, though he still insists that anyone walking past the house must be woofed at - not a bad thing here as it is expected of dogs.
He loves having his own garden and is a complete sun worshiper, and now that the ponds have been cleaned he's discovered that there are rocks to be picked up :D And ornaments. We're working on that :crossfingers.gif:

We had a rare cloudy day recently so the perfect excuse to get the dogs out for a walk in the mountains. Obviously we drove up the mountain for errr... Tia's sake :D

Today we went exploring before settling for a river walk, a bit too deep for the dogs though (sorry Jordon)

This evening I took Jordon out with a couple of large males from a nearby home-rescue as I'd like to get his social skills back. He did his usual initial chest-puffing but it wasn't long before the goofball inside him took over and he was trying to get the other two to play. Unfortunately for Jordon neither of them really do the play thing (one was having his first ever lead-walk) but it was so good to see him socialising well, and Mark who runs the rescue only got one growl :D We'll be doing this regularly before moving on to bringing dogs (and people) in to our garden.
Apologies for the picture quality, my camera isn't too good in low light.

And finally Jordon's favourite place, and where you'll find him every night after 8pm unless I'm having a sofa evening
