Homing Requirements:Freya needs a nurturing Collie training home who undertand Collie traits and needs. She requires a dog centred regime to enable her to catch up on life exposure. Excellent with dogs and would prefer her to be in with other dog(s) or lots of dog contact. Not for cats or young children.

Video from a week back Freya playing with Breagh Collie

Video: Freya on a walk at age 7 months

Her Story: Owned by a family who offered her nothing other than shelter for the first 7 months of her life. She has since been wormed, flea treated, spayed, vax’d and chipped. Freya was homed in with a young child but the combination of a 4 year old with a 7 month mouthy pup proved too much. Freya is now in foster in Reading with 2 other dogs.

Advert: Freya is lithe, joyful and still novice. She loves to meet dogs of all sizes and breeds. She is playful and respectful and really quite tolerant. Currently fostered in with a Collie and a Terrier and she follows her leaders! She sidles up to people for affection. She is now housetrained. She can be left for periods without event. Very much in her chewing phase and mostly appropriate chewing, with her fosterers attentive eye.

Freya is a 9 month old black Collie with a soft long coat, white tail tip and toes! She is beginning to bulk out as she matures. Freya is bright, intelligent and responsive. She enjoys training and above all enjoys life but now needs the right circumstances to meet her current and long-term needs.

Referral Details: Freya was passed into another Rescue as a temporary measure as her owners were willing to give her to anyone yesterday. Told she was 5 months, on actually collecting her in fact 7 months! She needed to come out 24 hours later as too focused on the cats. Held for us for 2 days awaiting collection tomorrow.

Am collecting Freya tomorrow morning once I have arranged spay. She will be neutered and 1st vacc'd. Her temp foster will try and take her overnight to overcome her neutering op.
