So happy for lovely Roxy. She waited long enough and has hit the jackpot. Just brilliant news for this great girl.

Hi everyone, Kate and Han (and Roxy) here!
It's so encouraging to see all the messages on here and have such a heartwarming community at RR. Sorry it's taken a while for an update but we've been busy helping our Roxy settle in.

Roxy's adventure home started with a road trip back to London, she seemed very excited and couldn't decide if she wanted to sit on me or lick Han's ear so she alternated between the two:

We thought it would be best to wear her out a little to calm her nerves (and our excitement!) so on the way back we stopped at Richmond Park. As first time dog owners and having only just met Roxy we were cautious as to how she'd be but after a little anxiety from her in the car park she was an angel. Met by lots of off lead dogs, walkers, bird watchers and even a few deer she was perfect and always staying close and checking to see if we were close by too.

One thing we definitely learnt on the first day is that Roxy loves cuddles! She'll always find a way to sit on us or wiggle in between us on the sofa:

Sunday was lovely and sunny which gave us a chance to explore nearby Southwark Park

Again she was perfect even after aggressive barking from a nearby dog and stayed calm while we got a snack:

One thing's for sure - she was definitely tired after all those walks!

Since then Roxy has been getting a couple of long walks a day, has plenty of toys to play with and gets lots and lots of hugs.

We feel so lucky to have Roxy join our little family and look forward to adventures and cuddles to come love4.gif
