These cats may have lived in a domestic setting prior to coming into Rescue but have lived 'free range within an animal sanctuary fending for themselves to find shelter and intermixing both with other cats for group feeding and to mix around loose dogs around the communal yard. Each is a survivor and generally social. Some are little reticent to human touch but can be picked up and stroked: Other seek pout companionship and stroked. All would appreciate moving into the warm and love of a home setting.

Black dogs are notoriously difficult to photograph and as I discovered today, black cats even more so !
Don't forget black cats are lucky :biggrin.gif:

Who could resist little worried Wilfred! I can see that he would love to find a good home. Love the photo of Wilfred cuddled up with Purdey! Wilfred, I can see that you've been waiting for a year for a home, and you're such a cute cat. Fingers crossed you find a cosy home soon.

Yes Debbie, what special cats! I worry that not many people wanting a cat will notice these wonderful cats on here (as of course this website is primarily for lovely dogs), but fingers crossed that people will see them and spread the word. These 8 cats have been waiting for a home for over a year now since they arrived in 2015 (and they were in a rescue before that as well) so they would be so grateful for a good cosy home.

I can see that 2 of the cats, Wilfred and Purdey were initially a bit nervous, so maybe would benefit from having a home together - although perhaps they are less nervous now as they have probably got used to being looked after and handled over the last year at this rescue. All these 8 cats like other cats which is good. It would be nice to have an update on each of them to see how they all are.

Yes it's so rewarding to give a home to a rescue cat or dog and see them flourish and relax in a loving secure cosy home, without having to worry anymore.
