Tilley's Story: Found stray/abandoned, was chipped but unclaimed within a Northern council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Tilley is now neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Tilley was in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk; Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
PLEASE SUPPORT OUR WORK AND HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle in your home after adequate time and reassurance. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers.
Please click for Tilley's thread to view regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within seven days and complete an online homing questionnaire. We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes, and may be talking with up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes.

So lovely to meet this adorable girl ... such softness as she looked into my eyes ... a real softie to cuddle too! We had a short walk together, she's keen but very responsive, she sat when I asked her too and happy to walk beside me as we returned to the kennels. She kept a very watchful eye on some provocative pigeons. Super girl!

I have great pleasure in saying Tilley is reserved, after visiting Minty and her owner today. Their meeting could not of gone better, Minty was bit nervous at first but soon took a liking to Tilley. Tilley was on her best behaviour and impressed everyone. The instant bond was amazing to watch. Tilley could definitely get used to this life. Wish you the best of luck for Saturday Tilley xx

Tilley went home today. Sharon had met her already, as had Mindy, her dog, but 'The Husband' hadn't met Tilley. Well Tilley had been 'sold' to said Husband as smaller than their dog but somehow although this was clearly not true that was insignificant as Tilley worked her magic and showed what a lovely girlie she is
Tilley has gone to a lovely home and I think we may not have seen the last of this family
