Known background: Toffee was handed in to a Rescue who asked us as terrierrescue to assist finding Toffee his new family. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place. Toffee is 4 years old. now neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Toffee came into our Rescue on the 1st June 16. Toffee was in foster with 6 other terriers and a cat well; He objects to the horses!

Original Referral: Please remember this is the information we received from the referrer. Once a dog is with us and we begin to work with them and unpack them they can and often do reveal positive skills trust and transform behaviours Mid May 2016 We were approached via another Rescue/ pound if we would be able to help Toffee who was very stressed in kennels. They were happy to neuter, and chip.

We have arranged to take Toffee in on Wednesday the 1st June 16

This wee man arrived and has been quite a sweetie. He is a little manic around food but is a bit on the thin side. We walked with a friend and her dogs when he arrived. He ignored her dogs and everyone we met. The only time he got excited and barkey was when her dog reacted to someone else! Loves walking and is good on the lead. He is a little nervous, however, when my son came to visit today, Toffee was obsessed with him.Handsome chap

Toffee is settling well. He is playing more and less reactive to people. He was fearful in the beggining and is ignoring people more on our walks. He loves the ball and is learning to play. He makes lots of terrier noise when playing and his little whippy tail wags alot. He is okay in the car, likes to look out of the window. He travels quietly on his own bit can shout when the others start. He has realised that there is plenty of food to go around, so is not as food defensive. He copies Tilly when she barks for a treat! Loves his cuddles and is happy to sleep next to the girls. He is concerned by Ronnie and bullies Snowy a little. On the whole he is a sweetie, just under socialised.
