Re: JayJay JRTx DofB 01.05.14 Gatwick Kenns
JayJay arrived today very meek and mild. He has been handled by 4 different transporters without problems. I was able to fit a collar on him and put a harness which I adjusted on him. I carried him down the kennel line and watched for a reaction...calm! We shall see his his nerves emerge as he may just have been submissive in awe of his predicament but JayJay was soon friends with the 3 people who met him.
Re: JayJay JRTx DofB 01.05.14 Gatwick Kenns
Jay Jay is tiny - smaller than he appears in his pics. He let me change his harness without any problems at all - even pulling it over his head and getting it stuck didn't faze him. He walks beautifully to heel, no pulling - not that you'd feel it if he did. His nerves get the better of him when he encounters other dogs out and about. He barked and got overly stimulated by every dog we passed but was soon moved on. I wouldn't say he's dog aggressive more a total novice and the barking is just bravado. He met Huckleberry (largish dog) very well through his kennel. Huckleberry has good dog skills - I let him get close, Jay Jay was calm and greeted him well. I think the more exposure Jay Jay gets to other dogs and new experiences - the barking and silliness will lessen considerably. He was a little love in the poets hut, enjoyed being stroked and rolling on the sofa. Xx

I walked new arrival JayJay at Broxbourne yesterday. He was pleased to be out and greeted me with a very waggy tail. He's tiny and trotted alongside me with his head and tail held high. He was very alert and watched everything that moved with interest. He spotted the muntjac before I did! He barked at the few dogs we met but settled quickly once they'd passed. He may be small but he has bundles of character!!

Lovely little JayJay has joined me today for a weekend away
I picked him up from Broxbourne this morning and we continued on, up to my mum and dads near Milton Keynes. JayJay travelled perfectly, now which position is most comfortable he says... First call was to meet my dad at my brothers to go and watch my niece Imi running in a local competition, so out of my car into dads passenger seat with JayJay on my knee, he was very interested in where we were going
JayJay enjoyed his damp walk in the park to watch the cross country race ! He had a little shout at a couple of dogs we got close to but he’s such a wee little thing he is easy to manage and moves on nicely !
Then back to Mum and dads and JayJay was delighted to say hi, no nerves whatsoever, quite the forward friendly little chap JayJay discovered the toy box and has had a ball (well several actually ) this afternoon !!! Has loved his toys and cuddles, we both fell asleep on the sofa for a while too
No accidents, JayJay has made it clear when he’s wanted to go out and taken the opportunity when we’ve let him out for a wander round the garden
JayJay is adorable
