Arrow's Story: Arrow was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a Welsh council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Arrow is neutered, chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Arrow was in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst he awaits his new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
Arrow's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information:
03.12.18: Hi Lynne, we have Arrow an 8 year old JRT that was taken to vet to be PTS for being dog aggressive; he isn’t, but is lead reactive - on a slack lead he is fine and mixes ok. Would you have space for him too?
I have attached pictures of him also xxx Mikey

Teeny tiny boy. Very sprightly and happy. We had a little explore around the grounds, and he was actually very pleased to see the enormous Genie, who was playing in the paddock. Here's a little taster..

Re: Arrow Jackchi DofB 08.02.09 Gatwick Kenns
Little Arrow came over to Gatwick today. He had a few barks when he first went into the travel crate but soon settled next to Patch's crate. On arriving at our destination he met Anne for a photoshoot. He then started a walk with Patch and seems really relaxed. !0 mins later Minnie and Jack arrived an older pair of Jack Russells. He made an initial move and rushed up to on and seemed to engage his mouth in a pop but didn't actually touch..the usual indignation of the terrier and then immediately settled and walked very happily with 3 Jack Russells though slightly apart his choice. He went up and sniffed several of the dogs and showed actually he can easily be out there meeting friends and gaining confidence amongst them

Arrow is a lovely little boy who danced behind his kennel door as Natalie and Joshua stood watching him ready to MEET
His dog skills revealed; both were confident they could support his 'little man syndrome' and give him social opportunities for him to make canine friends when he isn't entertaining them at home. Thank you both your love for Arrow was very evident and he will flourish under your care.
