Chopin's Story : Found stray/abandoned & unclaimed within a council pound: Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Chopin is now neutered; chipped and fully vaccinated. Came in 19.11.17. Chopin is not for cats and cannot live with another dog at this time. Chopin was kennelled in Gatwick Kennels whilst he awaited his new family.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog laws have changed with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces, and manage and support encounters so as not to place dog's lives at risk, (Destruction or Control Orders are common place nowadays).

***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and Is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.

Please click for Chopin's thread for regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within 7 days and complete a homing questionnaire submitted Online We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes and can be talking to up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need a supportive family to offer patience, time & tolerance to allow them to settle.

Original Referral information : We work with our dogs & often reveal a different picture & positive skills as they build trust. 17th Nov 17: Email Title at risk of PTS Lynne I am as you know eternally grateful for every single dog you take- and you have helped me with many. I was wondering if any possibility of taking a very urgent terrier x boy.

He adores people but is pretty dog reactive at the moment. Pound he came from believes he's very workable. I placed him into a rescue but she is now refusing to keep him and he risks going back to the pound. They want him out this weekend. He has been neutered and vaccinated.

I know you have long waiting list and I don’t wish to pressure you but no one can help this boy and his space at the pound has also gone. Please can you let me know asap if you could possibly take him in.

I had the pleasure or walking this lovable little boy yesterday. An amazing welcome was waiting for me as I entered his kennel. I was greeted like a long lost friend. It always amazes me the dogs that have been through so much uncertainty and upheaval are so trusting of people. :thanks.gif: to Lynne for offering a rescue place for this boy in need.

Chopin loved his walk and seemed to enjoy investigating all the new smells in the wood. He walked well and didn't pull. We passed a couple of dogs who he had a little bark at but nothing major. I can't wait to walk Chopin again. He is going to prove very popular with the terrier fans love4.gif xx

What an absolute cracker Chopin is!! I received the best welcome when I entered his kennel, cuddles, kisses, happy jumps, face wash - the full works. He thoroughly enjoyed his walk, a waggy tail the whole time. When he saw Beauty, walked by Lisa, he stared at her, barked, got excited. I told him that was no way to greet a lady, tapped my pocket (he knew there were sausages in there), got him to refocus on me, rewarded him and we were soon on our way again. Chopin is a joyous little man - one of those lovely dogs who is just fun to be around. I thought he looked as if he had some pug in him......shhhhh, don't tell him I said that. X

I met Chopin for the first time today, having been told I can get my Dexter cuddles again with this boy! He is indeed very friendly and affectionate, if a little excitable! Chopin does get his knickers in a twist when he sees another dog but more excitement than anything and very manageable. He just acts a bit silly but no real agression. Hoping in time, with socialising he will improve.
