Harvey usually sits really well for his treats. On Sunday he thought the photography session was taking far too long so he investigated the bag on the bench.

Had a lovely long walk with Harvey in the sunshine on Saturday. He did get quite excited by the boats on the canal and at one point I thought he was going to try and jump in (it was rather hot so who could blame him!)

Harvey was a bit subdued when we left the kennels today. He brightened up when we got into the park and saw some squirrels. He must be confused as to why he's back in kennels so lets hope he finds a home soon

I haven’t walked Harvey for a few weeks so it was good to take him out on Saturday morning. He’s very easy to walk but did bark at other dogs more than he’s done previously. I met a lovely couple with a rescue greyhound that Harvey wasn’t keen on but they stood and chatted for a while and he eventually settled and sat quietly. I met them again on the way back – I distracted Harvey with some treats and there was no barking at all. He’s a quick learner! It was getting quite warm by the time we were heading back so we sat on the grass for a while and he had a good roll. He’s a lovely little character – he just needs the right experienced terrier home.

Today was my first walk with Harvey and a most pleasant chap he is.
He jumped in the truck and had a good root around for treats and rolled all over my girl JRT's smells then settled for a chill and some treats.
We set off for a shady walk and came across other dogs (all of which he was good with) then had a dip in the stream to cool off.
Harvey is a great walker on his own or with other dogs.
Thank you Harvey for a great walk, I can't wait to take you out again.

0093.gif lovely photos indeed of this photogenic little dog. I met Harvey for the first time yesterday - I had heard a lot about him and so was impatient to meet him. He did not disappoint - friendly, fun loving, walk loving - what more could you want in a little Patterdale companion? I look forward to walking him again and am keeping everything crossed that he finds his forever home soon. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

Such a lovely looking boy. We were due to meet Harvey on Saturday, if it didn't go well with Jack. Fortunately for Jack it all worked out, so we didn't get to meet Harvey.
If we had more space available at home I would take Harvey in a heartbeat.
I just hope he finds his home soon.

I took Harvey out for the first time today, he greeted me in his kennel, and off we went. He was in mood for a brisk walk, only stopping for a few sniffs. He passed other dogs without any fuss, very easy to walk. Please consider this lovely handsome boy for his forever home blob6.gif]
