Here's a few photos of Charlie's Easter break in Wales.
He settled down for the long journey and found a nice pillow...

After a few village walks a comfy sofa was the order of the day...

Time for a long walk on the beach...

Charlie was keen to get to the sea...

But either the water was a bit cold or it was the first time he'd seen waves...he was a little unsure...

An interesting ditch!
Charlie really enjoyed his walks and was keen to get out and about seeing the sights. He liked playing ball with the children in the garden and found the chickens especially entertaining - through the window I hasten to add!!
He's an affectionate little chap and liked to join me for a cwtch before breakfast...we really hope he finds the right home soon as he's got so much to give!! Good luck Charlie - we'll be watching your updates...

Thank you Peter and family for giving Charlie some time out for rest and assessment; it will really help his future placement. In the meantime, the volunteers will give him plenty of cwtches. :thanks.gif:

Had a lovely long walk with Charlie today. We met a pack of joggers, bikers, hiking students and a couple of loose dogs. He was good as gold with all of them and very respectful with his kennel mate Basil. Care needed on pavements - he can get flustered by lorries and lunged at an ambulance! Lovely happy boy.

Oh Charlie, what a delight you are. Tuesday was a hot day, and Charlie was very happy to sit in the river for a few minutes. he's a busy, happy little chap on walks, and just adorable.

Charlie is happy little Pattie, he had a lovely walk with Basil. The two boys were brilliant together and took everything in their stride which was a long walk, which included walking back along the river Wey with all the comings and goings. He enjoyed a couple of dips in the river also.

Heard the rustle of a treat bag!
Walked Charlie on Sunday, he was very happy boy to be going out, easy to harness, walked so well and very light on the lead, passing walkers and joggers with no reaction.
We didn't see any other dogs but we did see some squirrels which Charlie being a true terrier had to investigate!
