Max needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.

Known background: Max was found stray/abandoned & unclaimed within a London council pound. Max was found chipped but to Lancaster address with no response. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place and save Max's life. Max is now neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Max was in Guildford boarding kennels awaiting his home.

Max tiny boy PatterJack with a dynamo. He delights on every turn & twirl. He is learning to tolerate dogs but is not happy for them to intrude without his casual acceptance. Using a muzzle as he is fostered with a lot of off lead dogs unnerving him. He shows his little teeth & looks a darling as he messages “please don’t come near”. Little Max is gentle & kind around humans & is easy to lift & cuddle. Brilliant little man. Brilliant little Max

Max was happy to be coming out for a walk with me today, he's so cute with his big ears. He can pull a little bit on the lead at times but he's so tiny you don't really notice. He's a happy and energetic little guy and loves strokes and cuddles. bighug.gif

Dear little Max, but I think he believes he is Maximillian, he explores everything. A real bundle of lovely energy. Says hello to everyone and was so excited to meet up with Nancy but then settled down and they both walked very well together. A little dog with a big personality, love his recall on lead and if you stop he just comes running back to you. Love him and he has a lot of love to give to his ........forever home now. He is ready and waiting. Hi ya!.gif :smiley-chores002.gif:

Second walk of the week with this lovely tiny boy who is full of love to give everybody. Nothing touchy feely about him.

He does pull on the lead but this I believe is becos he has had no proper training, but he does connect with you and comes to your call, so it would not take long.

Takes no notice of traffic, lawnmowers or very loud motorcycles. In fact he just loves to be out and about. Gorgeous boy who just needs time spent with him. He was drawn towards the children we met. positivo1.gif

Walked this little busy bee again today. He is a bundle of fun. He does get excited meeting other dogs but he does settle.

We got soaked to the skin today but this guy doesn't mind in the least - bring it on. I gave him a towelling down when we got back which he loved and he took his treats so gently. :havefun.gif: woo.gif]

We went for quite a long walk yesterday and I had the little fella eating out of my hand and his recall is coming along by leaps and bounds literally. I have found a treat that he loves and we now 'have a thing going on' he has connected to me and came buzzing back to his name. He doesn't mind rain puddles, traffic, cycles, posties and loves children in fact all humans.

We met a shitshui and walked parallel and after being so excited to start with then had a lovely walk around the field together. I don't think he has met many dogs before but with the RR walking machine he will get more socialised. He definitely wants to learn. He takes treats so gently and loves being picked up and cuddled.
