I had the pleasure of meeting and walking little Basil yesterday, what a super wee fella ! We got all set for our walk and trotted off with walker Jo and RR dog Boycie, it was a little and large outing (the dogs that is !) :0)

I have to say I spent most of the walk looking down to check Basil was actually still there ! Walked beautifully on the lead at my pace, slack lead all the way - such a good boy having a good old sniff of the leaves, stopping periodically for treats - yum !

Look at that wonky strap, you just can't get the staff these days can you Basil !

A real sweetie, hope he finds his home soon x

I took lovely bouncy Basil for a walk along the river today. On entering his kennel I was greeted with such enthusiasm and excitement at the prospect of going out. :dog_running-186.gif: He was easy to harness and walked well out of his kennel down the run past the other dogs. We set of towards the river. Basil loved exploring, sniffing out all the sights and sounds along the way. He's a lovely enquisitive little chap, a pleasure to walk so light and gentle on the lead. I hope he gets his forever home soon. love4.gif

I took Basil out for a walk earlier. He's such a gentle dog to walk, its like walking a feather, he more or less never pulled and even if he did it was just a tiny bit. He's very well behaved and quiet. As other people have noticed he loves exploring new places and taking everything in. He's a pleasure to walk and he's a charming little dog. Here's some photos I took during the walk.

OMG I didn't realise what a cutie Basil is. Took him into the paddock for some fun in the sun on Friday. Basil is available for adoption at the Guildford kennels.❤️This is the first time I have read his thread and I'm so sad to see how long he has been waiting..why? I love him and I don't even "do" terriers. My volunteering has changed my perception.
Here are a couple of vids..sorry not the correct format, already spent ages uploading to facebook etc

More Baz funtime. I like taking him to the paddock, as he gets lots of walks out. He had a lovely mooch about sniffing all the doggy smells while I had my lunch. Then he's ready for some play and smooches.

Lovely riverside walk yesterday with gentleman Basil. (See above photo) he's so calm and loving. Can't think why this adorable little chap hasn't got his forever sofa! He walked beautifully with kennel friend Clover and my husband. Wasn't bothered by other dogs or humans. He's a very special little chap who loves nothing more than a cuddle and tummy tickles. love4.gif

Basil was easy to walk and very good and well behaved as usual. He got some much appreciated attention from a passerby and was easy going as usual. It was very hot so we did just a quick walk. I discovered that he loves some belly rubs :D Here's some pics:

I had a lovely walk with Basil yesterday. He was his usual loving self. I lay on the grass next to the canal, and had a lovely canoodle with him. We lay there for ages, having not really walked very far. He was just so happy to have this contact..it's all he needs. So he would be ideal for someone who can't walk much and wants some special terrier company. Please someone offer a retirement home for Basil.

I walked Basil for the first time today. What a treat! It was pouring with rain but he was great. He walked brilliantly and although he was interested in everything (including other dogs) he didn't react to any of them. Even when a big GSD had a bark at him. I can't believe he's been looking for his forever home for so long.
