PLEASE NOTE: Dog laws have changed with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces, and manage and support encounters so as not to place dog's lives at risk, (Destruction or Control Orders are common place nowadays).
***PLEASE HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our min. adoption donation £175, which supports our work and Is non returnable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle given adequate time and reassurance. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life and exist on the goodwill of our supporters and volunteers.

Original Referral information : We work with our dogs & often reveal a different picture & positive skills as they build trust. 01.11.17: Hi Lynne, We are looking to place 2 dogs would you have any space to offer?
Jessie is a young Jack Russell Terrier (2 in January 2018) who came to us as a stray. Her owner was contacted but was too busy working to collect her. She is used to being on her own for many hours but she really prefers human company. She is a friendly girl but under socialised and can be nervous around new people and dogs. She will bark at anything new as a defence but she shows no aggressive tendencies. She loves getting out to explore and is a bright girl who would benefit from additional training and an active owner.
Jessie comes mid Nov

What a beauty this little girl is - inside and out. I didn't find her to be nervous, she let me harness her easily - it was the smallest harness I've ever seen!! She loved the woodland walk, taking in all the sights and smells. In the poets hut she happily accepted lots of fuss and cuddles, nudging my hand if I stopped. I'm not sure if it was a fluke but she met the cat boarder really, really well. I was so amazed I had to ask another walker to hold her while I took a pic. Jessie is a dear little girl who was one of the easiest dogs I've ever walked. Xx
